Loop Hero Sells Half A Million Copies In One Week

Loop Hero, the latest title from Devolver Digital to take the gaming world (and my Twitter feed) by storm, has sold half a million copies in its first week.

Having previously hit 150,000 players in its first 24-hours, the game has grown exponentially and developer Four Quarters has released new Steam Trading Cards to celebrate.

Loop Hero Sells Half A Million Copies In One Week

“Thank you all for your support and excitement for Loop Hero from all of us at Four Quarters,” the studio said.

“Right now we’re working on patches with quality-of-life updates you all asked for, including a system for saving during expeditions, new speed settings, and a deck of traits gained from bosses. After that, you can expect to see lots more content added to the game, such as new cards, classes, and transformations. We can’t wait to share more updates with you all soon.”

The game's (excellent) soundtrack is now the fastest-selling in Devolver Digital history, which considering the pedigree of the publisher is quite the accolade (Hotline Miami, anyone?).
