What time does The League of Legends New Patch Release On Wednesdays

Riot Games

When it comes to new updates for League of Legends, Riot games normally run like clockwork.

It's currently season 11 for the game and we have a League of Legends Patch Schedule that already details many of the dates for when each new patch is set to release on live servers.

For those curious, the current League of Legends Patch Notes are for update 11.14. Thanks to the PBE we already have a bit of a preview of what to expect in LoL patch 11.15. Follow the link if you fancy knowing more.

But if you're more interested in knowing exactly when this next patch will release, keep reading.

What time does the League of Legends patch release on Wednesdays?

Strictly speaking, Riot Games has never given a specific time for when they choose to release their new game updates. Although in fairness they have given us their patch schedule with dates to mark in our calendar all the way up to the end of 2021. So we can't exactly grumble.

For the most part though, updates tend to release in time with the update times we've seen previously in 2020. As such, you can expect the maintenance start times to begin at roughly 3am PT for NA servers, 5am UK time for EUW servers, and 3am CET for EUNE servers.

Anyone curious and thinking 'how long does LoL maintenance last' it's typically around the three-hour mark.

Although we'd always recommend checking the Riot Games Support account on Twitter (@RiotSupport) just to be certain for every patch they release. Likewise, you might as well check the Server Status page if it's taking a bit longer than normal.
