Riot announces the League of Legends Wild Rift Masters of the Hunt release date along with some key details about what to expect as you descend into the jungle and all its madness.
League of Legends Masters of the Hunt runs from May 6 through May 18, with a wrap-up period lasting until May 25.
It’s a chance for the Masters of the Hunt winners to show off their victory and also for everyone who took part to collect the spoils of combat.
What those spoils are depends on which side you choose to back.
League of Legends Wild Rift Masters of the Hunt pits Rengar and Kha’Zix together in lethal combat, though you won’t be taking part in their battle.
League of Legends Wild Rift Masters of the Hunt Date
Masters of the Hunt begins May 6 and runs through May 18.
Rewards will be available for a week afterward, until May 25.
The winning team gets to show off their spawn tag for a week afterwards and gets an upgraded icon, while second place earns a special Boost Bundle.
League of Legends Wild Rift Masters of the Hunt Gameplay
Instead of fighting with the rival beasts, you’ll choose which hunter to back and fight for them in special event battles.

The rewards you earn change depending on which hunter you choose.
Riot is keeping a lid on them for now, though expect plenty of cosmetics to be included.
The press release also mentioned you'll unlock one of the hunters by participating.
League of Legends Wild Rift Nemesis Duel
Masters of the Hunt is also introducing the new Nemesis Duel combat feature, where rival hunters may burst onto the battlefield to try settling their scores.
This will be a permanent feature, though only Rengar and Kha’Zix are included for now.
