The next big patch for League of Legends arrives this week!

Update 11.1 will arrive in League of Legends ushering in a new season as well as making changes to over 100 champions!

Update 10.25 was the last pre-season update players received, now it's time to get stuck into the real action.

While a number of these changes are small, they can completely change the face of the game in practicality, especially when so many have received nerfs.

11.1 marks the new season, as well as being the first major update of 2021.

LoL Patch 11.1 Release Date

The first patch of 2021 is expecting to arrive on the 6th January 2021.

It will likely roll out at the following times (but this isn't confirmed):

  • 3am PT(NA servers)
  • 5am GMT (EUW servers)
  • 3am CET (EUNE servers)

In-Game Chat/Shop Updates

  • We've improved and standardized text editing across the shop and chat so things like CTRL+A to select all, cut, copy, and paste work as expected
  • Text editing works with mouse clicks for cursor positioning and drag selection
  • Items displayed in the shop build tree are now vertically centred
  • When selling a stacked item like a potion or ward, the stack will remain selected and only a single instance of the item will be sold
  • Pressing O and P at the same time no longer places the shop into an OP state where the scoreboard and shop overlap each other
  • Many bug fixes and performance improvements
