LoL 11.17 Patch Release Date

According to our League of Legends 2021 patch schedule, the 11.17 League of Legends patch should be released on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021.

Maintenance times haven’t yet been confirmed, but we typically see these game updates to be released at the following times on the main servers:

  • 3 am PT(NA servers)
  • 5 am GMT (WEU servers)
  • 3 am CET (EEU servers)

LoL Patch 11.17 Patch Champion Changes

As of now, the developers have confirmed two major champion changes for the upcoming patch.

While Lucian is being reworked to fit the bottom lane instead of the traditional mid-lane, Amumu is also receiving buffs to ensure that the champion can perform better even in higher MMR matches.

Given that update 11.16 was released recently, the PBE cycle for update 11.17 is yet to begin on the test servers. Players can sign up for a League of Legends PBE account to avail all these upcoming changes before they are released on the main server.

UPDATE - These are all the official champion changes for patch 11.17.

Akshan

  • Comeuppance (R) cooldown on cancellation lowered from 15s to 5s
  • Apart from this, Akshan has other changes that are currently being tested on the PBE and will be revealed soon.

  • Base AD lowered from 64 to 62
  • Lightslinger (Passive)
    [New] Ally buffs empower Lucian's next [2-4] basic attacks to deal an additional 14 (+10% tAD) Magic damage
  • Ardent Blaze (W)
    Mana cost lowered from 70 to 60
    "Allies proccing the mark also trigger Vigilance."
  • The Culling (R)
    Damage per shot lowered from [20/40/60 (+25% AD)] to [15/30/45 (+25% AD)]
    The number of shots changed from [22/28/34] to [22 (+25% Critical Strike Chance)]

System Changes

According to patch preview for update 11.17, five systems will also be affected by buffs or nerfs. Here's the list of revealed systems,

  • Hullbreaker - Health increased from 300 to 400
  • Youmuu's Ghostblade - Cost Lowered from 3000 to 2900. Grants additional +15 Ability Haste. Attack Damage lowered from 60 to 55.

Apart from all these, the developers have revealed that updates 11.18 and 11.19 will focus on the professional scene. This means that these updates will implement heavy changes to champions and systems that are heavily used in higher MMR lobbies.

It has also been confirmed that League of Legends World Championship 2021 will be played on patch 11.19.
