Log in to the game client with your account. Go to the game’s store and choose the Account option on the top right corner of the screen.

Select the Summoner Name Change, but it will cost you 1300 RP or 13900 BE. So, make sure that you have sufficient RP or BE before you choose to do it.

Using BE won’t cost you real money. However, if you don’t want to grind a lot of games if it happens that you don’t have enough BE, then spending some to buy RP might be worth it.

But in any case that you would just change your name because of a typo error, or because of very minimal errors, then you may do it for free in LoL.

Just launch a Riot support ticket and type the title line “SUBJECT: Summoner Name Change.”
