The Last of Us: TV Show gets huge boost ahead of Part 2 launch on PS4

The Last of Us 2 is coming, but almost as interesting is the recent confirmation that HBO is developing a TV series based on the series.

While we know that Neil Druckmann is already on board, it turns out that he isn't the only person from the games to be able to make the jump to the TV show.

Also joining the series is Gustavo Santaolalla, the composer of the legendary first game and its upcoming sequel.

Academy Award-winning Santaolalla has also worked on Brokeback Mountain, Netflix's Making a Murderer, and more, having been making music since the eighties.

The Last Of Us TV show will take some story inspiration from the 2013 title as well as the sequel which launches on May 29 exclusively on PS4.

It'd be fair to say anticipation is high for both, especially given the creator of hit show Chernobyl, Craig Mazin, is on board to co-write alongside Druckmann.
