The Last of Us 2 may have launched without multiplayer, but a new tweet from industry insider Roberto Serrano looks to have shown off some footage of what looks to be a continuation of the first game's factions mode.
While many have noted that the build is likely from the huge leak that occurred back in May, it's still worth a watch.

It's only a tiny clip, but it does show that the multiplayer looks just as good as the single-player campaign does, and the map looks to be set in the game's earliest areas - potentially in Jackson.
While the player character is equipped with a gun (with limited ammo), it looks as though melee will be just as key as it is in Ellie's story, as the player is ambushed by an attacker with a knife.
We'll keep an eye out for any updates, with Factions cultivating a cult following over the course of its lifespan in The Last of Us. It's worth noting that Naughty Dog has confirmed they are working on something multiplayer-focused.
