Ember Labs first revealed Kena Bridge of Spirits during the big PS5 reveal event and now, almost a year later, we know the Kena Bridge of Spirits release date. And Ember Labs is confident it won’t be delayed.
Kena Bridge of Spirits is an action-exploration game with animation and modeling that’s almost Pixar-like in its style.
There’s a multitude of elements shaping Kena’s journey, including resource and creature management and shifting between the world’s normal and spirit dimensions.
Despite premiering at the PS5 showcase, Kena will release on other platforms when it launches.

What Is Kena Bridge of Spirits
The game follows Kena on a journey to uncover a hidden shrine that quickly turns into a much bigger journey.
Kena’s world is plagued by a darkness born from lingering spirits that people from Kena’s village must put to rest.
They’re accompanied by the Rot, a Ghibli-esque race of creatures that helps preserve the world’s balance through dealing with decomposing material. Their powers can also shape the environment, though we haven’t seen how yet.
Kena Bridge of Spirits Platforms
Kena Bridge of Spirits will release on PS5, PS4, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
The PS5 version will feature faster load times and takes advantage of the DualSense, particularly in how it feels to use the bow and other abilities.
The game will also be available on GeForce Now.
Kena Bridge of Spirits Sequel
Update - May 12
There’s no word yet on whether we’ll see a Kena Bridge of Spirits 2. However, in an exclusive WIRED report, Ember Labs said they’re working on a new project already, one designed for the PlayStation 5.
