In Kena: Bridge of Spirits you are accompanied by a squad of adorable sidekicks known as Rot. After you rescue the first set of Rot, they will follow you around and loyally battle alongside you once they're brave enough. We are going to show you how to unlock the Hat Cart in Village which will let you customise your little crew.

How To Unlock the Hat Cart in Kena: Bridge of Spirits
To unlock the Hat Cart you need to have played through the beginning stages of the game and you need to have defeated your first boss, Sprout. After defeating Sprout, Beni and Saiya will give you a mission to help their brother Taro. Follow the siblings to Village.
Head through the first bits of Village and you will come to a Deadzone. In the centre will be a large Deadzone Heart that will close.
You need to defeat the enemies that spawn then explore the immediate area to take down the smaller Deadzone Hearts using Rot. Then you will be able to tackle the large Deadzone Heart in the same way.
Once the environment has been restored, you will unlock the Hat Cart.
What Is the Hat Cart?
The Hat Cart is where you can go to purchase cosmetics for any of your Rot pals. As you progress through the different areas you will collect Crystals. These Crystals can be used to purchase different hats from the Hat Shop.
You can only buy hats from the Hat Cart once you have found them in each area.
The only cosmetics you will not need to find will be if you have the Digital Deluxe version of the game, if you do you will automatically have a Gold Rot and a Digital Deluxe staff for Kena.
How To Buy Hats
When you enter the Hat Cart you will automatically be shown this screen:
On here you can scroll through any of the Hats that you have found whilst out on your adventures and buy them. Most of the hats are reasonably priced as Crystals are easy to find across the world.
How To Equip Hats
In the Hat Cart, jump over to the next tab which will take you to this screen:
On here you can see which Hats and cosmetics that you have equipped already. In the top right-hand corner of the screen, you will see a line of Rot. This is showing you your Rot and how many you have left to customise as well as the ones you have already given a hat.
To unequip any cosmetic you have applied simply click on the desired one and hit your "unequip" command. Remember to save your game after equipping any purchased items or you might lose them!
