Kena: Bridge of Spirits Update 1.11 Is Live, Adding Extra Auto-Save Slots and Halloween Hats


Kena: Bridge of Spirits continues to implement post-launch changes to Ember Lab's action-adventure title. After update 1.10 dropped two weeks ago, update 1.11 has just gone live.

Notably, that implements additional auto-save slots (now up to 5), a crop feature for the photo mode, and the world map now displays collected items. On PC, ultrawide support was also patched in. Halloween hats have also been added, though these don't unlock until November 1st.

Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Releases Update 1.11 Patch Notes

Here's the whole update 1.11 patch notes, as released by Ember Lab on their official website:

  • Added support for more auto-save slots (5).
  • Added location thumbnails to save files.
  • Improved quality and increased resolution of images captured with photo mode.
  • Added roll functionality to photo mode.
  • Photo mode now crops images to match the selected format.
  • Added ability to display collected items on the world map.
  • Added Meditation Spot tracking per region on the world map.
  • Improved ultrawide support on PC.
  • Fixed bugs related to save game state.
  • Fixed small Rot animation related bugs.
  • Animation, audio mixing and music bug fixes.
  • Fixed bugs relating to missing collectables and lost owl statues.
  • Reduced tracking on certain enemy and boss attacks.
  • Crash fixes.

Previously, Update 1.10 only focused on crash fixes, but Update 1.09 improved localization for the Japanese version. That also fixed a progression block issue within Spirit Mail, alongside corrupt Villager enemies who kept getting stuck behind deadzone walls.
