Batman and Superman have had their fights over the years, with Superman tasting defeat many times. Nonetheless, none are more coveted than the Dark Knight Returns fight or the Injustice saga. Speaking of the Injustice Saga, we know that there will be an animated adaptation of the story by DC.

So far, we know little about the movie except that it's happening. As reported by IGN, Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two will include a trailer for Injustice as a bonus feature. Batman: The Long Halloween will be released in July, so everyone is waiting to see what will be in the Injustice movie.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us game was amazing

The Injustice: Gods Among Us storyline takes place far away from Earth-Prime (The universe we all know). This version of Earth includes the destruction of Metropolis and the death of Lois Lane and Superman's unborn child all by The Joker. This prompted Superman to kill the Joker and take over the Earth in a rage and a sense of "greater good."

Batman, of course, opposes Superman's rule and both enlist other superheroes in this brutal conflict. Different superheroes switch sides to fight for the future of DC, with Batman ultimately winning (as usual). It is similar to Mortal Kombat in that the player controls different characters as the story unfolds.

We should learn more about whether the new animated movie will follow the events of the first game or the comics in the coming months. DC always makes good animated movies, so you can be sure the Injustice movie will be good.

We all expected Injustice news to be related to Injustice 3

Since NetherRealm Studios released Injustice 2 four years ago, there has been speculation about a third entry in the series, but all we know is that the studio has been hiring for future titles. Injustice: Gods Among Us was released in 2013 and quickly became a best-seller and spawned numerous comic books covering the entire storyline.

Several fans were hoping Injustice: Year Zero would help NetherReam Studios announce the third installment to the series. Still, there is hope as even Ed Boon jumped on the news trending by pointing out the movie announcement.

The GFinity team will be sure to report on Injustice 3's announcement or if we learn more information about the movie.
