Warner Bros. Announces Injustice: Gods Among Us Animated Movie


We were hoping for a new Injustice game, but what we're getting first is an Injustice movie planned for release sometime in fall 2021.

The Hollywood Reporter announced the animated Injustice movie in an exclusive report and described it as a crossover between the Injustice: Gods Among Us game and Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One comic from Tom Taylor.

Some minor story spoilers are below.

The Injustice movie takes place on an alternate Earth where Superman murders Lois Lane accidentally and tries to take over the planet. Batman and co. mobilize to stop Superman.

Warner Bros. Announces Injustice: Gods Among Us Animated Movie

The Injustice animated movie is a collaboration between Warner Bros. Animation, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, and DC.

Justin Hartley (Smallville, The Hunt) voices Superman, while Anson Mount (Star Trek: Strange New World) is Batman, and Laura Bailey (The Last of Us 2) voices Lois Lane.

The Injustice movie will air on TV, as mentioned, but there's no word yet what platforms it will stream on.
