With DC FanDome 2021 taking place next week, rumours suggest an Injustice 3 reveal could happen on October 16, 2021. As seen by IGN, Injustice and Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has been confirmed to appear at DC FanDome.
While no reason's been given for his appearance, speculation suggests that's due to Injustice. Developers NetherRealm recently shifted focus from Mortal Kombat 11, shifting towards a new project.

Other expected game announcements in DC FanDome 2021 include reveals for Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Additionally, Epic Games COO Donald Mustard is also rumoured to appear, which could give a hint about potential Fortnite announcements.
