Tayasui has announced that Track & Burn, a retro-inspired racing & track-building game, launches via Steam Early Access on November 3rd. Described as a "chic free-to-play racer," Tayasui describe this like a crossover between Driver’ & ‘Trackmania’, mixing 70s old school racing with custom track-building.
Featuring minimalist graphics and a level editor, Track & Burn's premise sees us race around custom circuits, competing with friends locally or online. For the more competitively minded, racing ghosts are available alongside world leaderboards, while special events are also promised.
Track & Burn Races Towards Early Access Next Week
You can watch the cinematic trailer below and speaking about this further, Studio Head Yann Le Conroller said:
We’re incredibly proud of Track & Burn. A cool no-frills racer with tonnes of heart. Now it’s time to let the Early Access community take the wheel - giving their feedback, playtesting fun new features, building epic custom tracks, and helping us continue to improve the experience. We can’t wait to see what our players come up with!
As an Early Access release, that'll initially launch with select features on September 9th for free, and Tayasui promise updates and additional content are coming soon. You can check out the Steam page for further information.
