Heart Machine's Solar Ash Gets Delayed Until December


Solar Ash has just received a last minute delay. Originally scheduled to launch this month on October 26th, developers Heart Machine has announced that's been pushed back until December 2nd.

Making this announcement via Twitter alongside publishers Annapurna Interactive, Heart Machine confirmed it'd been delayed to "get the last pieces of polish and bug fixes into the game." According to that update, this move's will also help them navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Heart Machine's Solar Ash Gets Delayed Until December

First revealed back in 2019, Solar Ash focuses on Rei, who awakens in the palm of a giant luminous being. Setting out to explore several large locations, we got an extended look during Annapurna Interactive's showcase last July, which you can find here. It's shaping up to be a promising adventure, and game designer Alx Preston previously called Solar Ash "Heart Machine’s vision of the adventure platformer". Launching on PS4, PS5 and PC as a timed Epic Games Store exclusive, we'll keep you informed as we learn more.
