With the launch of Warzone 2 taking place in early November, fans of the battle royale are turning their attention to the Warzone Halloween event 2022. For the past couple of years, spooky season has appeared in the game through limited-time modes, the arrival of zombies, and more.

Halloween events always prove popular in Warzone but with the switch to the new game taking place in the next few weeks, many are wondering if the current iteration of the battle royale will feature any kind of spooky goings on at all.

Will there be a Warzone Halloween event?

While there are no signs of any event taking place on Caldera, notable Call of Duty leaker @TheGhostOfHope claims the Halloween event will take place on Fortune's Keep. In July, the leaker posted a tweet revealing the haunting of Fortune's Keep implying a Halloween event is on the way.

As always, take leaks with a pinch of salt until Activision shares any official information but considering Hope has an impressive track record when correctly revealing information, there's a chance Fortune's Keep will receive a seasonal makeover.

Following the launch of the Season 5 reloaded update, Raven Software is yet to reveal any information on a Halloween event taking place on Caldera.

Warzone Halloween event operators 2022

Like previous Halloween events, Warzone fans are expecting another crossover to appear in the battle royale. So far, the likes of Leatherface and Ghostface from legendary horror movie franchises have received bundles containing an Operator skin and there's every chance something similar happens with another scary character.

So far, intel on the next Halloween crossover remains a mystery so we will wait and see what Activision and Raven Software have in store for one final event before players move over to Warzone 2.

Are zombies coming back to Warzone?

Most Warzone Halloween events feature the undead in some capacity and considering the success of the themed limited-time modes (LTM) that involve players controlling zombies, there's a high chance they will make a return in the next few weeks.
