What is Dune Awakened?
Dune Awakened is an MMO Survival game created by Funcom. It's set in the Dune universe on Arrakis. It's pulling inspiration from both the novels and the 2021 film. As part of the game, you'll be exploring uncharted sectors, and you'll have to build a shelter and harvest resources, similar to something like Rust.
Alongside some information, we have a trailer for the game, which shows one of the most terrifying enemies that you'll have to deal with, giant sand worms. We'd assume that you'll be able to spot these things, but who knows.
When does Dune Awakened release?
At the moment, there isn't any stated release date for Dune Awakened. Considering that this is an MMO, there's a chance that there will be a beta to test out the multiplayer aspects of the game out. As dates do get announced, we'll be sure to bring you that!
