Hearthstone 2021 World Championship Date Announced


The 2021 Hearthstone World Championship has been announced ahead of the final regular-season weekend of the 2021 Grandmasters series.

The World Championship will take place on the 18th - 19th of December, where the top 8 Hearthstone players will compete for their share of the $500,000 prize pool and a chance to earn a spot in the prestigious Hall of Champions.

The first four positions are locked in as the final four will be decided in the following weeks.

October 10th will see the champions of America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe crowned, followed by the winner of China's Gold Series named as the final spot in November.

Hearthstone 2021 World Championship Date Announced

The first four competitors who qualified through the Grandmasters 2021 season 1 for this year's World Championship are:

  1. Facundo "Nalguidan" Nahuel Pruzzo - America
  2. Wataru "Posesi" Ishibashi - Asia-Pacific
  3. David "Frenetic" Neila Quiñones - Europe
  4. Huang "KZGXiaobai" Dehui - China

The World Championship will be exclusively streamed on YouTube, alongside the final Grandmaster series over the next few weeks, so be sure to tune in to see who makes it to the finals.

With only four spots up for grabs, it is sure to be a close competition where only the best of the best will make it to the world's stage later this year, and only one will be crowned the 2021 Hearthstone World Champion.
