While Marcus Lehto's V1 Interactive studio closed after Disintegration's mixed success, he's still better known for co-creating Halo during his days at Bungie. Recently, he's been offering fans further insights into Halo: Combat Evolved's early development.
Releasing clips via Twitter from his "2000 Halo PC build", that began by showing off Covenant weapon prototypes, notably drawing attention to the "microwave gun". Commenting that it "would have been hilarious" to include it, Lehto's video provided a view at earlier game models for humans and Covenant.

The following day, we were then given a look at the "Spear Gun", which sticks spears into the intended target. Notably, you can also see an early Elite model here, which Lehto describes as "almost naked".
Finally, Lehto showed us an early design for Master Chief, sporting some noticeable differences. Describing him as previously having a "single hump backpack and lower back retractable sword", that video showcased a "Macworld early Forerunner building" too. It's an interesting dive into Halo's history and with Halo Infinite fast approaching, we'll keep you updated with further news.
