Halo Infinite and Waze Have Teamed Up So You Can Pretend You're Driving A Warthog


Navigation app Waze is adding a special collaboration for the Halo franchise's 20th anniversary, with themed Halo Infinite customisation options allowing you to be directed by everyone's favourite Spartan, Master Chief – or Banished War Chief Escharum.

Each option offers turn-by-turn directions, and launches today.

The update is available from today through this link, or you can open the Waze app, head to 'My Waze', and select the Halo banner.

It's available in English, Spanish, French or Portuguese, and drivers can replace their car's icon with the classic Warthog vehicle or a Covenant Ghost.

The update is available for a limited time only.

It's been a big week for Halo Infinite, with Microsoft's flagship shooter the talk of the town following its first multiplayer preview over the last weekend.

Datamines have suggested that not only will the long-awaited FPS offer multiple campaigns, but that there could be a battle royale mode coming, too.

Halo Infinite was slated to launch alongside the Xbox Series S and X last year, but will now arrive later this year. In fact, according to a donut advert (of all things), it could be here in November.
