Halo Infinite is coming, and in a new blog post on Halo Waypoint, 343 unveiled the full "Set A Fire In Your Heart" track.

For a series famed for its audio, this song stands proudly among them - despite being British composer Gareth Coker's first entry in the franchise.

Coker, perhaps best known for his work on the Ori franchise, has a long history of working in videogames, including Minecraft content, ARK, and Darksiders Genesis.

You can check out "Set a Fire in Your Heart" below.

In the blog, Coker notes that he wanted to capture "the essence of what it means to be Master Chief".

"It’s not an easy thing to put into words, but when you play the game, it should be felt. It’s something that you learn to recognize when you play a lot of games as I do and you are also actively working on them."

"Like all my favorite game soundtracks the ones that stay with me the most are the ones not with just great music alone, the key is when the right music, plays at the right time in sync with the game to create a moment that stays with the player forever." Coker explains. "This has been something that I’d say Halo is incredibly well known for and is a very important aspect of game music. For me it’s not so much one piece of music in particular, but more how it all makes you feel while playing."

Halo Infinite is set to launch alongside the Xbox Series X sometime in Holiday 2020.
