Halo Infinite Events Will Reward Non-Canon Cosmetics

As part of the monthly Inside Infinite blog post, the team mentioned some more information regarding events and what sort of rewards they will give players.

While we will have to wait a little longer to get the full announcement of what events are, for now, we know "almost every week" there will be new free events for players to complete, Says Lead Progression Designer, Chris Blohm.

Some weeks will be on a larger scale than others, and we can assume the quality of the rewards to change depending on the event.

"The Battle Pass and other main vectors will supply canon customization. The Fracture and some events will at times lean into things further afield - like the Yoroi armor shown in the multiplayer trailer." Chris says.

We learned last week that the Yoroi armor will be a reward from completing events, and today further clarification was given describing rewards coming from "special event types with thematic rewards called a 'Fracture'", although there is little information about what will exactly be involved.

More details will be revealed closer to the date of release, which is still unannounced.

We also heard that seasons will be 3 months long, and the battle pass will be available for completion outside of the respective seasons' run time.
