After the initial Halo Infinite Flight Test, fans have been wondering when Halo Infinite Flight Test 2 would take place, with leaks regarding the game’s maps and vehicles keeping fans sane, at least until the dates are announced.

Thankfully, that day is today, as 343 Industries revealed that Halo Infinite Technical Flight 2 will take place on back-to-back weekends, starting this week from September 23rd to September 26th, and then next weekend, from September 30th to October 3rd.

Halo Infinite Flight Test 2 Gets Back-to-Back Weekend Dates Starting This Week

Interestingly enough, Halo Infinite Technical Flight Test 2 will focus on a big game mode for each weekend, with the four-on-four Arena being the main focus on the first weekend and the 12-on-12 Big Team Battle taking place on the second weekend.

Halo Insiders that managed to get accounts by September 13 will get invited to the first weekend, while more players will be able to join the second weekend, though 343 Industries hasn’t given details on that yet.

The goal of Halo Infinite Technical Flight Test 2 is to test the game’s online capabilities on a larger scale than the previous beta, hence the focus on team matches with multiple players on each side.

Since the Halo Infinite Flight Test is a beta, the folks at 343 Industries are also hoping for more feedback on what they can fix and if any bugs are messing with their games, which is important since the Free-to-Play multiplayer has been confirmed as a live-service.

Halo Infinite will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on December 8, 2021.
