Halo Infinite Devs Looking at Battle Pass Progression Fix

Halo Infinite came out in beta thanks to a surprise announcement at Xbox's 20th-anniversary stream, and we're as excited as everyone else. It's time to get stuck into the Heroes of Reach Battle Pass, but it's a tough proposition - ranking up fast has been a struggle for players of the early beta.

It's the one thing wrong with Halo Infinite in a lot of players' eyes, but the slow Battle Pass progression has been slammed by many players. We've found it pretty sluggish too.

However, it looks like this might be high on the list of fixes 343 Industries are looking to make to Halo Infinite. Halo Community Director Brian 'Ske7ch' Jarrard has posted a tweet confirming the team's understanding of the issues present with the Battle Pass' progression.

Even Joseph Staten, Halo Infinite's Head of Creative, got in on the act to reassure fans they're having a look at the progression pathway in the game. Fans will hope these words are followed through on and the Halo Infinite Battle Pass will become much more fun to rank up.

Fans on Reddit seem happy about these potential changes.

"I get that the complaints about the progression system have been out there since the flights, but I'm confident the response from yesterday/today really got the point across to 343 that this is something that desperately needs changing."

The fact that the Battle Passes never run out is a potentially great way to make Halo Infinite's progression system feel accessible and non-restrictive, so it'll be interesting to see the final result of these changes. We'll keep you updated when news is released!
