Halo Infinite Armor Leaks Show a Different Kind of Halo Experience

A round of Halo Infinite armor leaks dropped online courtesy of Twitter user LeakyHalo and Tom Henderson, and some of them might not be what you were expecting.

Henderson said Halo Infinite armor won't be following the series as it usually does. Instead, 343 Industries is leaning a bit more into the fun and maybe even the slightly bizarre.

There's the usual set of space helmets, true, but there's also a samurai headpiece, a demon head... and a snowman.

Henderson said the snowman would feature as part of a winter event, so presumably Halo Infinite would have other seasonal skins alongside more general cosmetics.

It makes sense, considering one of 343's goals with Infinite's free-to-play multiplayer is giving players more freedom over how they look. The dev team even removed the traditional red and blue armor so it wouldn't interfere with custom armor designs in multiplayer matches.

We still don't have a release date for Halo Infinite yet, but we do know 343 plans more technical alphas in the lead-up to the full game's launch sometime this holiday season.
