Expected New Character To Be Added

So far, the players are expecting some new characters to be added to the Guilty Gear Strive roster from its story mode. One of the game's villains, Happy Chaos, is expected to be included soon. This character's role in the story was to assist I-no in reclaiming her full power and prevent the only person, Sol Badguy, from achieving this goal.

This character is a shadow of his former self after trying to contain I-no's powers to prevent her from destroying the world if she chooses so. In the Guilty Gear Strive story, Happy Chaos claims that he is not evil and only wants dramatic events to happen in history which encourages him to assist I-no and endanger world leaders for the Guilty Gear heroes to save them.

More than just a random ruffian, Happy Chaos is actually the mentor of Asuka R. Kreutz who was a villain in Guilty Gear Strive. Asuka R. Kreutz was known as that man that wreaked havoc as a main villain of the game with his magic and behind-the-scenes scheming but has since given up endangering the world after finding something else to do. Happy Chaos showcases his magic by making bullets out of steel of Nagoriyuki's sword which renders Sol Badguy's superhuman healing to not work.

Overall, this character is a big bad of the game. Often times, main villains of Arc System Works fighting games added to playable roster are characters with oppressive tool sets but may take some time to learn. These characters can feel like a "boss" character in the hands of players who can understand how to play them.

Other than new characters, many fans are also expecting older Guilty Gear characters to return in this game. Two of these characters are Slayer and Baiken. These characters were leaked to be included in the game and fans are still awaiting if the developers will really add them to the roster.

As a character, Slayer is the original leader of the Assassin's Guild and an all-powerful vampire that meddles with the Guilty Gear events if he pleases so. During the Guilty Gear Strive events, the Assassin's Guild has been disbanded after the pardon of their crimes. Even without his organization around, Slayer's inclusion in the game could be traced on if he whims to trade blows with the characters again.

Meanwhile, Baiken is a Japanese samurai hellbent on taking revenge on That Man for creating Gears that obliterated her loved ones and homeland. However, Asuka R. Kreutz has since left his villainous ways as That Man and has given up his source of power for humanity to seal to run a radio show from the moon. It's unknown what will Baiken's goal when she is added to the game but she is a good friend of Anji Mito who is already playable in this game.
