How to unlock Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
Prior to unlocking the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower in the game, you must first know its location so you can get to it. The Gerudo Desert region will first remain blank on your map until you activate it by exploring all areas of Hyrule.
Be sure to have some cooling elixirs, food, and some useful armour or clothing before trying to activate this tower as its location is quite warm.
Now, you're ready to find the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower. First, open the map on Link's Purah pad and go to the following coordinates: -2430, -2177, 0307. Once you arrive at this destination you'll be able to see the tower. More specifically, it's found on the high mesa to the southwest of the Great Plateau.
In terms of unlocking the Tower, you must first greet Sawson at the base of the tower. He'll be by an elevator that isn't working. You can climb up to the base of the tower by the doors. You'll also find a large deposit of crafting supplies there.
To make the elevator work, you must find a heavy, weighted object to attach to a hanging knob on the elevator's platform ceiling. Try using the metal crates to do so. It's worth noting you'll need to utilise Ultrahand in order to move the heavy objects into place.
Once you've done this, the elevator will lift Saswson to the tower and he'll open it. Then, you'll have the ability to approach the pedestal in the tower to activate it. This will then unlock the area map and you can now fast travel to this location as well.
