Dark Link is a pretty popular variation of Link, and if you want to dress up as him, you’re going to need to know how to get the Dark Link set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Nintendo has added a bunch of cool new cosmetics and clothing in the game. A returning fan favourite costume is the Dark Set, which lets you dress up as Dark Link.

Getting the outfit involves exploring the depths and trading with several bargaining statues. Getting the Dark Tunic is a simple enough affair; however, if you want to complete the outfit, it will require a bit more effort. Don’t worry, as we will cover all the steps you need to take to get the Dark Tunic and the Dark Link Set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

Unlocking Poe Trading with the Bargainer Statue

You can find your first Bargainer Statue at Lookout Landing inside the central tent. Once you interact with it, it will explain all the ins and outs of trading Poes, a brand new currency, and showcase the rewards you can get from it. One of these rewards is the Dark Tunic, which you can trade for 150 Poes.

How do I collect Poes in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

Now that we know what to collect, let’s actually go through the process of collecting Poes. To collect Poes, you’re going to have to venture into the Depths. Luckily, you can do this quite early on, as long as you follow the Camera Work in the Depths side quest that you unlock at Lookout Landing.

Once you’re in the Depths, you will see flaming blue orbs scattered all across the surface in various locations. Light up the Lightroots to make navigation in the dark easier for yourself. It’s going to take a bit of exploration, but eventually, you will be able to collect enough Poes for the Dark Tunic. However, this isn’t where our journey ends.

While the Dark Tunic is quite nice on its own, it’s not enough to finish the Dark Link Set. You’re going to want to collect the Dark Hood and Dark Trousers. Both these items are available at two different Bargaining Statues, both of which are located in the Depths. The Dark Hood costs 300 Poes, and the Dark Trousers cost 200 Poes.

  • Coordinates for Dark Trousers Bargaining Statue: (3851, -1332, -0858)

The task may appear a bit daunting, but the reward is worth it, as the Dark Link outfit is one of the most unique outfits in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. In fact, it has a unique full set bonus that improves your speed at night time, making you a force to be reckoned with in the darkness of Hyrule.
