How to unlock Tonfa

Unlike the ISO 45 and the Tempus Razorback, the Tonfa doesn't appear as part of the battle pass. Instead, you need to complete the last Assault on Vondel event challenge in order to obtain this melee weapon.

Season 4 sees the debut of the Assault on Vondel event, a new event containing a wealth of community and player-focused challenges. What is a Tonfa melee weapon?

A Tonfa is a dual-wield melee weapon featuring a handle designed to increase grip allowing the user to generate more power when using it in the heat of battle. Infinity Ward says the Tonfa "delivers blunt trauma without risk of dulling or breaking," so you can get multiple uses out of it over the course of a match.

When is Warzone and MW2 Season 4?

Season 4 of Warzone and Modern Warfare 2 kicks off on June 14, 2023, as does the Attack on Vondel event. This means you can start completing challenges and eventually unlock the Tonfa.
