When you're in the shop, you can then purchase the headband, which you can switch into if you head to a workbench. You'll find a workbench in the same room as the shop, or on the Mantis. You can change Cal's hairstyle at the workbench. Once you've switched to the headband, you can then try training with your weapons to get the Cobra Cal trophy.
