If you're wondering whether or not Maschiff evolves, then the answer to that is yes! It has a singular evolution, that retains its Dark-type nature. There also seems to be two versions of the evolution according to some leaks.
According to those aforementioned leaks, we know the name of the evolution, and it's Mabosstiff. Mabosstiff is a mean-lookin' pup with some serious facial features. It comes in either a white or a black version. While this could be the male or female variations, it could also be a day/night variation, just like the Eevee variants Umbreon and Espeon.
When does Maschiff evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?
Fortunately, it's very easy to evolve Maschiff into a Mabosstiff. Even better, you don't need to worry about specific requirements, held items, or movesets. Rather easily, all you need to do is level Maschiff up to level 35. After that it will try to evolve the next time it levels up.
