When is Modern Warfare 2 Season Two?

Season Two for Modern Warfare 2 will begin on February 15. Originally, it was meant to start on February 1 but Activision decided to push it back to allow developers more time to fix any glaring issues impacting the game.

Thankfully, the start of the new season isn't very far away which is great news if you're waiting for some brand-new multiplayer content.

What's in the Modern Warfare 2 Season Two update?

So far, there's not a lot of information surrounding the content arriving as part of the Season Two update. We assume a couple of new weapons will join the ever-expanding arsenal alongside a new battle pass packed with content to unlock.

Alongside new guns and a battle pass, there are rumours of the Museum map from the beta making a return. Although it's an original design, there are some that are still waiting for maps from 2009's Modern Warfare 2 to make an appearance.

Is Modern Warfare 2 Season Two free?

Absolutely! The Season Two update and the majority of content are completely free. The only paid content is all 20 sectors of the battle pass which costs a reasonable 1000 COD Points.

Although it's another dose of new weapons and a new map, Season Two of Modern Warfare 2 is bound to contain plenty of bug fixes which will drastically improve the experience.
