Fortunately, nothing is challenging about changing your username colour in Modern Warfare 2. First, you should head to the right side of the Settings menu. Here you can see your account level and change such essential attributes as the emblem, clan tag, and calling card.

You only need to input a unique colour code in the up arrow function to get a coloured nickname. At the moment of writing, there are only ten colours that you can use. However, there is a slight chance that developers will add new colours. You can find all working colour codes in the list below:

  • Black - ^0
  • Red - ^1
  • Green - ^2
  • Yellow - ^3
  • Dark Blue - ^4
  • Light Blue - ^5
  • Pink - ^6
  • White - ^7
  • Skye Blue - ^8
  • Dark Red - ^9

Moreover, you can change your nickname colour even if you are in a clan and want to have a specific clan tag. You should only add the up arrow function before the clan tag. After that, you should press the save button and exit the menu.
