What are mounts in Hogwarts Legacy?

We know for sure that mounts will be available in Hogwarts Legacy from the start, and you will be able to use them to travel around the world quickly.

Also, Mounts are likely to get special equipment, perks, and other stuff to make them more powerful. That hasn't been confirmed officially, but it's something we expect to see.

All Hogwarts Legacy mounts revealed so far

We know about the Thestral, Hippogriff, and Broom mounts already. Also, Hippogriff and Thestral can be unlocked even before the game comes out. Below is a little more detail on each of them:

Thestral

Thestral is one of the most popular mounts in the Harry Potter series and its returning for Hogwarts Legacy. Using Thestral is the best option to make your character evil in Hogwarts Legacy. This giant dragon is not only a perfect means of transport but also an ideal option if you want to scare little goblins on the ground.

And if you want to get Thestral right now, you must pre-order the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition of the game. You will also get unique skins and other extra goodies by pre-ordering those versions.

Hippogriff

Getting the Hippogriff is thankfully a bit easier than getting Thestral as your Hogwarts Legacy mount. You can purchase the standard Hogwarts Legacy edition to get Hippogriff in Hogwarts Legacy.

Broom

The last mount in Hogwarts Legacy is your character's Broom. It is one of the Harry Potter series’ most widespread and basic mounts. Therefore, it was always going to be a key part of Hogwarts Legacy.

Even though there are no details yet on how you can get a Broom in Hogwarts Legacy, it seems that it will be the primary mount, so you'll likely just get it as part of the story.
