Genshin Impact Tighnari materials - ascension, level up, and talent material farming locations

The next 5-Star joining Genshin Impact's bulging roster is Tighnari - a bow user equipped with a Dendro Vision. Let's look at the Tighnari materials we'll need to level him up.

We may not be able to completely prepare for Tighnari and the other Sumeru newcomers, but there are some things we can farm and purchase in advance. Hopefully, the Sumeru-specific items won't be locked behind progress to begin - we're looking at you Thoma and your incredibly specific mushroom needs!

What Tighnari materials do I need?

We all know how to level up Genshin characters by now, but just in case, here's a reminder. Traversing the world gives minimal XP, so XP materials like Hero's Wit are your friend. As well as that, you'll need a good pile of Mora to afford the Ascensions of Tighnari.

Ascension materials

As well as the non-specific XP materials and Mora, Tighnari will have some special requirements to get him to level 80 and above.

In terms of totals, this is how many of each item we're looking at:

• Nagadus Emerald Sliver - 1
• Nagadus Emerald Fragment - 9
• Nagadus Emerald Chunk - 9
• Nagadus Emerald Gemstone - 6
• Majestic Hooked Beak - 46
• Nilotpala Lotus - 186
• Fungal Spores - 18
• Luminescent Pollen - 30
• Crystalline Cyst Dust - 36
• 2,092,400 Mora

Aside from Mora and the mushroom drops, these materials are Sumeru-specific, so we'll need to wait and see where we can farm them properly.

What are Tighnari's Talent materials?

Each character in Genshin Impact has a set of talents pertaining to their attacks and abilities, which can be upgraded. It is highly recommended to do this as it can add some serious strength to healing, attack, and extra bonuses.

As always, you'll need three Crowns of Insight to finish the talents. There are some currently unnamed talent materials that are specific to Sumeru, too: we will update them here when we know more.

We will need 9 'Teachings of Admonition', 63 of the 'Guide to Admonition', and 114 'Philosophies of Admonition', the same as every other character. A new Domain will be added in Sumeru where these can be obtained.

Tighnari material farming locations

Here are the locations of where to get the materials for Tighnari. In terms of the Sumeru items, this is based on leaks and assumptions from what we know about the game already. We will confirm details when Version 3.0 is released.

Nagadus Emerald

Other Ascension gems in the game are dropped by a varying amount of weekly and normal bosses across Teyvat. It is likely that new bosses, such as the Jadeplume Terrorshroom, will drop Emerald pieces.

We may be able to purchase some slivers from shops, as we have been able to do with other types of Gems. You can also transform Gems into other variations at an alchemy bench, and craft them into larger pieces.

Majestic Hooked Beak

This is a new boss drop material, which comes from the Jadeplume Terrorshroom found in Sumeru. We'll likely get between 1-3 per fight, depending on world level.

Lunar Lotus

The Lotus is a Sumeru plant, and as such, we aren't clear where it grows. Allegedly, it glows brightly at night and can be found in the forest wetlands.

Fungal Spores, Luminescent Pollen, Crystalline Cyst Dust

These three items, despite different names, are evolved versions of the previous. They are dropped by Floating Hydro Fungus in the Chasm, and likely in Sumeru, too. It is also likely that other elements of Fungus will appear and drop the items, too.

The Meaning of Aeons

This item is a specific drop from the weekly boss fight in the Trounce Domain 'End of the Oneiric Euthymia'. It is against the Raiden Shogun's form named Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto, and must be unlocked through the Raiden Shogun's second story quest.

Crowns Of Insight

Crowns are used to level Combat Talents from level 9, to final level 10. Some are available from upgrading the Frostbearing Tree, Sacred Sakura, and Lumenstone Adjuvant, but they are often included in event's rewards, too.

Admonition tablets

These can be found in the new Domain of Mastery: Full Moon IV on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
