FIFA 23 TOTW 3 predictions
Read on to see our predictions for the third team of the week in FIFA 23!
Predicted TOTW 3 goalkeepers
- Rafael Gikiewicz (FC Augsburg)
- Kevin Trapp (Eintracht Frankfurt)
Goalkeepers weren't on top form this weekend, with many of the big clubs struggling to keep a clean sheet. As such, we've got two Bundesliga goalies between the sticks, both of whom helped their teams to win. Gikiewicz was crucial in helping Augsburg get over the line in a tense 3-2 win against Schalke. Trapp, on the other hand, kept a clean sheet as Frankfurt beat Union Berlin 2-0.
Predicted TOTW 3 defenders
- Chris Smalling (AS Roma)
- Lucas Martínez (Fiorentina)
- Florian Kainz (1. FC Köln)
- Fodé Ballo-Touré (AC Milan)
- Craig Dawson (West Ham)
Defenders had plenty to shout about this gameweek, with several heroics from big names. Chris Smalling is in for a shout, after scoring the winner for AS Roma against Inter Milan. Bundesliga players should keep an eye out for Florian Kainz, who scored to help Köln beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2.

Predicted TOTW 3 midfielders
- Phil Foden (Manchester City)
- Ismaila Sarr (Watford)
- Miguel Almiron (Newcastle United)
- Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Latium)
- Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich)
- Paolo Dybala (AS Roma)
- Connor Gallagher (Chelsea)
There are some certainties in this week's TOTW, and Manchester City's Phil Foden is one. His hat-trick in the Manchester derby - the first of his career - should be more than enough to land him an upgrade. Newcastle's Almiron netted twice in their 4-1 win at Fulham, and Milinkovic-Savic worked wonders to bag a brace for Lazio (or Latium) against Spezia.
Predicted TOTW 3 attackers
- Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
- Gerard Deulofeu (Udinese)
- Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona)
- Alexander Sørloth (Real Sociedad)
- Wissam Ben Yedder (AS Monaco)
- Ryan Kent (Rangers)
- Timo Werner (RB Leipzig)
One name was an absolute must for this weeks TOTW: Manchester City's Erling Haaland. After a hat-trick and two assists in his team's demolition of local rivals Manchester United, expect a generous upgrade. Of course, that'll also mean his recent Ones to Watch card will get the same boost. Also expect high-profile scorers like Wissam Ben Yedder and Robert Lewandowski to land an in form this week, after both scoring for their clubs this week.
That's it for our FIFA 23 TOTW 3 predictions! We'll have to wait and see whether they all come true or not, but we'd bet heavily on Haaland definitely making the cut. For even more on the game, read up on the new power shot mechanic, as well as a list of all new OTW cards!
