As you can tell, there's a wide variety of songs available. The annual FIFA soundtrack has always been lauded for shining a light on international artists, and some of the very best indie rock out there. Over the years it's played host to artists like Sam Fender, Gorillaz, and Two Door Cinema Club.

This year there seems to be a heavy focus on artists from across Europe, no doubt aiming to please football fans all across the globe. Regardless of whether you've heard these songs before, the chances are you'll know every word within a few weeks.

However, the FIFA 23 VOLTA soundtrack has still yet to be announced. It equally hasn't leaked in the same way the base playlist has.

VOLTA has always had its separate soundtrack, with more of a focus on hip-hop and R&B compared to the rock of the normal game. The FIFA 22 VOLTA soundtrack played host to artists like Aitch, AJ Tracey, and Headie One. Expect to see plenty of other rap superstars in the FIFA 23 VOLTA soundtrack - whenever that's announced.
How do I pick a song from the FIFA 23 soundtrack?
If there's a song in the FIFA 23 soundtrack that you simply can't gel with, the good news is that you can easily take it out of rotation. It was a feature readily available in FIFA 22, so there's no reason to believe it won't appear in this game. Here is how to toggle songs as active or inactive on the soundtrack shuffle feature.
- From the FIFA 23 menu, scroll across to the Customise option.
- At the bottom-right, select EA Sports Trax.
- Scroll across the grid to see all of the songs active in the soundtrack. If there is a green tick next to it, that means that sound could come on shuffle at any time.
- Simply press X on PlayStation or A on Xbox to deselect a song from rotation.
