How to unlock New Game Plus in Dead Space remake

Fortunately, it's very easy to access New Game Plus in the Dead Space remake. As with so many other games, all you need to do is complete the story mode. Once the credits roll and Isaac Clarke's adventure ends, you'll get a screen discussing this new version of the base game.

To access it, you'll need to go from the main menu to an already-completed save slot. Doing so will restart the game, but with all those New Game Plus perks.

What does the Dead Space remake New Game Plus include?

Speaking of which, Dead Space's New Game Plus contains plenty of extras worth checking out. As you may expect, you'll keep all your weapons, suit upgrades, items, and currency from your previous save.

To find these items, you'll need to head to any of the stores dotted around the UCG Ishimura. Simply head there and scroll across to the storage tab, and you can take your items back to carry.

On top of that, the New Game Plus mode nets you access to a new suit, the Advanced Soldier RIG. That's alongside more powerful enemies with Phantom variants, making them much harder to defeat.

Lastly, the New Game Plus mode adds a new collectible item called Marker Fragments. There are twelve of these to find across the map, and when you find them all you'll get access to a hidden ending.
