Dead Island 2 pre order bonuses - How to claim and all editions

Dead Island 2 will finally be launching soon for PC and consoles, having been originally announced back in 2014. After almost ten years, players who have pre ordered the game can now find out what the Dead Island 2 pre order bonuses are and what comes in each of the Dead Island 2 special editions.

The third game in the series following Dead Island in 2011 and Dead Island: Riptide in 2013, the sequel takes place about ten years after the events of the original. The zombie outbreak is still strong, but is now set in southern California instead of a fictional island. Just like the first game, there are pre order bonuses for those that want to get in early.

All Dead Island 2 pre order bonuses

Dead Island 2 comes in various editions whether you purchase it digitally or physically, but all editions come with the Memories of Banoi Pack. It contains the Banoi War Club, Memories of Banoi Baseball Bat, Weapon Perk – Balanced, and Personal Space Skill Card.

Dead Island 2 Standard Edition

Also known as the Day One Edition if bought physically, this edition simply contains the base game and the Memories of Banoi Pack pre order bonus.

Dead Island 2 Pulp Edition

This is the deluxe version that is sold physically. It contains the base game, the pre order bonus, and the Pulp Weapons Pack that includes two weapons.

Dead Island 2 Deluxe Edition

The digital-only Deluxe Edition comes with three pieces of bonus content alongside the pre order bonus. That includes the Golden Weapons Pack, Character Pack 1, and Character Pack 2.

Dead Island 2 Gold Edition

The digital Gold Edition contains the pre order bonus, all Pulp and Deluxe Edition bonuses, and the Expansion Pass. The pass offers two new story chapters that will be released sometime after the game’s launch.
