If you're looking to save in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, you have to go to designated rest spots around the world. They have a small red flower icon on them, and are also adorned by a white-looking clover. Press the L button to go to the Preparations menu, where you can save your game.

This being said, there is an autosave function. Generally, after big bosses or a battle, you will see a small feather icon on the bottom right.
