Guardians of the Galaxy: How To Beat the Blood Brothers

In Chapter 6 of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, you will be on your own when you are trapped by two of Lady Hellbender's Bounty Hunters. With no sign of help from Cosmo or the rest of your team at first, it's down to you to fight for survival. This is why we're going to show you how to beat the Blood Brothers.

How To Beat the Blood Brothers

You do not actually need to beat the Blood Brothers to the point that they are destroyed. However, you will need to wear their health down and stay alive long enough for the battle to reach an end. We recommend that you buy as many of Star-Lord's skills as you can before entering this battle. The fight will happen in three parts and you need to survive all three parts while inflicting damage on them to "beat" them.

How To Survive Part One - All by Yourself

Initially, you will be facing the Blood Brothers on your own but you will quickly notice that anything you fire at them will not cause any damage. No, your game isn't broken as this is intentional. All you need to do for this first part is to stay alive and continuously shoot at them.

To avoid being hit by any of their attacks, you should try to keep as far from the brothers as possible. When they are about to do their jump attack, the impact zone indicator will show up on the ground where they will land. All you need to do is make sure you're not in the red circle and you will not be damaged.

If you successfully survive this first part, a cut-scene will activate.

How To Survive Part Two - Gamora Comes Back

Gamora will now show up and tell you that you need to keep the brothers separated in order to make them weak. Do as she says as when the brothers are together, their armour will automatically activate and it will make them impossible to damage. When they are separated, their armour will disappear and they will be vulnerable to any attacks.

There are two easy ways to keep the brothers separated:

1. When they are separated, use your Ice ability to quickly fill up one of the brother's stagger metres and freeze them in place. This will let you land multiple attacks on the frozen brother and inflict a serious amount of damage in one go.
   
2. Keep the brothers separated and order Gamora to attack one while you attack another. This will keep them from teaming back up as they're both fighting you off.

There will be points where the Blood Brothers will team up and clasp their hands together. While this is happening, repeatedly shoot one of them as they seem to take a lot of damage like this.

Once you've inflicted a substantial amount of damage on the duo, another cut-scene will appear.

How To Survive Part Three- Drax Will Return

Drax will now return to the fight and you will have two of your Guardians at your side. Follow the same steps you took previously to damage the duo but now you have Drax who can help you.

After you inflict another substantial amount of damage, a cut-scene will appear and end with everyone passing out. This is the sign that you have beaten the Blood Brothers.
