No matter how many hot games are out there, GTA 5 will always be near the top of sales lists, regardless of the system it is in, so if Rockstar Games ever decided to bring this game to the Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons would have some serious competition in that department, though it looks like that won’t be happening anytime soon as fans wait for the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions.
Fans who are picking up GTA 5 for the first time or waiting for GTA 6 are probably confused because this game has a lot of versions, with many being confused about GTA 5: Enhanced Edition and how it differs from the versions that are readily available now in various stores but, thankfully, it isn’t that complicated.
What Is GTA 5 Enhanced Edition?
As it turns out, GTA 5: Enhanced Edition is the PS5 upgrade of the game that will reportedly be more than a simple graphical improvement, though no clear details have been revealed.
The folks at Rockstar Games did confirm that there would be exclusive features only available in GTA 5: Enhanced Edition that isn’t on PS4 and Xbox One but those haven’t been shown yet.
We can assume that GTA 5: Enhanced Edition on PS5, and possibly on Xbox Series X, will come with all the DLC and updates that have benefited GTA Online, though we would love to see some single-player DLC down the road.
Plenty of PS4 and Xbox One players would be pretty pissed if they reveal GTA 5 single-player DLC exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X but that’s just a thought.
GTA 5: Enhanced Edition will be coming to the PS5 and Xbox Series X sometime this year if its only trailer is anything to go by.
