There are a lot of people who are eagerly awaiting the release of GTA 6 right now. Due to this, people are prone to exaggerating even the tiniest of details. The truth is, many supposed leaks have been disproven and many that haven't, but we can't keep treating them all the same.
Most leaks indicate that GTA 6 will be set in Vice City. Because all of the information we're getting revolves around that, it seems credible. It's still a lot to take in with all these leaks.
A look at the latest GTA 6 'Leaks'
I've collected three leaks that seem to be getting the most attention. All of them are based on the map itself. There are few details about Vice City in these leaks, so they might be accurate.
The screenshots and recordings were taken so early in the game's development that it's impossible to determine exactly how old they are. Most likely, the textures won't be the ones used in the game, and Rockstar may remove some features. As of right now, Rockstar hasn't confirmed any of these, so it's pointless to believe anything until they do.
As far as we know, most companies are trying to make 'Game-as-a-service' games, which is terrible. When games stop being a package we pay for and become something we have to pay to enjoy, it is a problem. Ubisoft, Rockstar, and probably Bethesda will continue to make money on these kinds of games as long as they are profitable.
