GTA 6: 5 Characters That Could Come Back From Previous Games

We know what to expect from the new Grand Theft Auto game, thanks to the leak that revealed the game would take place in Vice City. There will likely be some familiar faces in Vice City, as this is a location we've already visited. I've selected five I feel are most likely to appear.

The Grand Theft Auto series has multiple universes and canons. CJ showed up in GTAV on a billboard, so we know that it's still possible for characters to cross over universes.

Tommy Vercetti (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

Grand Theft Auto Vice City's main character. Playing as Tommy, you love him; you have to. It was a lot of fun playing with him, and he made this installment great.

In addition, he was the first protagonist to be voiced in the games, so he has a real personality. Tommy must appear in some way, shape, or form in GTA6, much like CJ did in GTA5. The obvious choice was Tommy, so he's number five.

Ken Rosenberg (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

As Tommy's partner in GTA Vice City, Ken Rosenberg played a significant role. It looks more likely to be Ken Rosenberg than Tommy because of his history of sneaking away to other games. Ken was one of the few characters that appeared outside of his main installment.

Look at him, ready to be a bad guy

It was great to see Ken in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Once players arrive at Caligula's Casino in Las Venturas, Ken and Kent Paul work with Carl. However, because Tommy lives in Vice City, he's more likely to appear in GTA6.

Claude (Grand Theft Auto 3)

It is no secret that Claude is one of the most beloved characters in the GTA series. Like Ken Rosenberg, he appeared in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. In this canon, Liberty City exists, so Claude may have a chance to return.

He comes back all the time.

Back in 2011, Rockstar Games confirmed that Claude was still alive. To quote them:

"He certainly isn't dead. What else became of him, we don't know".

GTA 5 Protagonists (GTAV)

Indeed, the protagonists of GTA5 will not be the protagonists of GTA6. There hasn't been an entire second game yet for any protagonist. Nonetheless, no Grand Theft Auto was as popular as GTA5, so many are unsure.

My point remains that they will only appear in cameos. Characters in Vice City will have a reason for being there, perhaps to assist the protagonist. You're right, and I predict a cameo from the three characters. How will that happen? Well, from one of the protagonists of GTA6, of course.

Jimmy DeSanta (GTAV)

Taking a memorable character and giving them a much more significant role in the next game was a great move by Rockstar. Even though Trevor Philips is super unstable, he's still a loved character. In my opinion, GTA6 will have the same outcome, and Jimmy is the ideal character to introduce the new console and gameplay style.

Straight thuggin.

Like his father, Jimmy may want to try the life of crime himself, but maybe he won't want to do it in Los Santos. Jimmy may need to expand the empire of the GTAV protagonists further; who knows? I'm just saying Jimmy has a lot of potential as a GTA6 cameo or protagonist.

Grand Theft Auto 6: Release Date News, Leaks & Everything We Know So Far

Although my first examples are far-fetched near the end, they still make a lot of sense. Let's hope Rockstar doesn't let us down and lets us see what a 70-year-old Tommy Vercetti is doing in GTA6.
