GTA Online Career Builder: What Is It?

GTA Online Ill Gotten Gains official artwork. Man in speedboat holding golden gun and a bag of money is behind him. The money is flying everywhere.

GTA Online lets you create your own character to live, breathe, work, and steal in Los Santos. You can choose to become a CEO and own a legitimate business that covers the dodgy deals done in the basement. Alternatively, you can earn your money through competing in, and winning street races around the city.

From Los Santos all the way to Blaine County, there are plenty of things for you to do to build your reputation in the criminal world. However, every great criminal mastermind or thief (or street-racer) needs to start somewhere. In the case of GTA Online, you start out with almost nothing, and you'll need to work hard to earn money to progress. This can be slightly tedious, especially if you know what you want to do, and who you want to be.

This is where the new Career Builder may come in useful. In this guide, we're going to explain what this is, and when you can access it.

What Is the Career Builder?

The Career Builder feature will help you set yourself up in Los Santos. If you've already started your life in GTA Online, then you're probably aware that it's not easy to make enough money to start climbing the criminal career ladder. It can take a lot of grinding and frustrating missions to earn enough money to purchase anything, even basic weapons. This is where Career Builder comes in for new players (or for those of you who want to start again).

So far, we know that the feature will instantly give you $4,000,000 to use in the game for purchasing anything that can help you get started. So far, we know that this includes:

  • Vehicles
  • Weapons
  • Properties

How to Access the Career Builder

As stated in this newswire post, the Career Builder feature is part of the next-gen versions of GTA Online. This means that the feature will only be available on those versions and you can access it from March 15, 2022.

We will update this page as we learn more about this new feature.
