Ghostrunner, the cyber-ninja hack and slasher, is out now, and developer One More Level has released a sizeable patch.
While not the most extensive of updates, it does contain something that'll undoubtedly please PS4 Pro and Xbox One X owners.
That's right – the game will now sport a 4K resolution on both platforms.
Ghostrunner 1.04 Patch Notes
Here are the short but very sweet patch notes:
- Fixed 4k resolution graphical issues
- Stability improvements
We recently reviewed Ghostrunner, and dubbed it "one of 2020's most pleasant surprises", and while we played it on a PC, the addition of 4K resolution for compatible consoles is a huge boon.
The game's cyberpunk city is gorgeous to look at, but you'll spend much of your time surging through it, running on walls and slicing through enemies.
With that in mind, here's hoping the devs were able to maintain the excellent framerate found in the PC version.
As we noted:
"Ghostrunner is one of the best surprises of 2020. While it can ask a lot of players, particularly in the early stages, it more than repays that investment with style and panache."
The game will also come to next-generation consoles in the coming months as a free upgrade.
