Ghost Of Tsushima Celebrates 1st Anniversary By Highlighting Player Stats


Yesterday marked the one year anniversary since Ghost of Tsushima launched, and developers Sucker Punch were in a celebratory mood. Having recently announced a "Director's Cut" edition is coming to PS4 and PS5 with an Iki Island expansion, Sucker Punch also shed some light on existing player stats.

Taking to Twitter for this announcement, they advised that across the entire player base, there's been 679.2 million standoffs, 333.1 million duels, 68.5 million Haikus written and 61 million photos taken in photo mode.

Adding to this in a separate image, Sucker Punch revealed that 55.63 million players have petted the Foxes, 60.1 million spirit dogs were summoned, 40.76 million Legends Mode missions were players, and lastly, that players have spent a combined total of 4,421 years on horseback.

That's not all, either. Within a separate tweet, they announced that they've also re-enabled a set of outfits within Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, based around other PlayStation characters. Focused on God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Shadow of the Colossus and Bloodborne, you can unlock those by "completing any Legends Story or Survival mission with each class."
