AUG Cold War Warzone

This burst-fire rifle boasts some impressive damage and accuracy statistics. Already equipped with a 1.5x scope, the need for swapping out for another optic comes down to personal preference and style of play.

The AUG packs a punch in the majority of situations, meaning that it can be customised in a number of ways to either conquer the long-range or short-range engagements.

The high damage output does provide a significant amount of recoil but the right attachments can make it seemingly disappear.

Cold War AUG Warzone Best Attachments

  • Muzzle Brake 5.56 (Muzzle)
  • 19.6” Match Grade (Barrel)
  • CQB Pad (Stock)
  • SASR Jungle Grip (Rear Grip)
  • Salvo 54 Rnd Fast Mag (Ammunition)

The muzzle brake is the only attachment required to bring down the recoil. The barrel further extends the damage and range, making the weapon more than capable of taking out a target that is at least a hundred metres away.

The rest of the attachments focus on improving reaction times, giving you the best possible chance to snap onto an enemy and send them to the Gulag.

If you don’t like the default optic, switch the 54-round magazine for the Axial Arms 3x for a crystal-clear view of the battlefield.

Secondary

AK-74u

  • 9.3” Extended (Barrel)
  • GRU 5mw Laser Sight (Laser)
  • No Stock (Stock)
  • Speed Tape (Rear Grip)
  • Patrol Grip (Underbarrel)

At close range, it can be difficult to find success with the AUG, which is why we have opted for the AK-74u as our secondary weapon.

This particular build focuses on dealing maximum damage when up close and personal with the enemy and thanks to its high damage output and supreme accuracy when firing from the hip, this is the perfect companion for the AUG.

Grenades

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Snapshot Grenade (Tactical)

Arguably the most versatile piece of lethal equipment in Warzone, the frag grenade can be used in a variety of ways to add some additional kills to the scoreboard.

The snapshot grenade provides a brief glimpse as to what could be lying around the corner, making it the perfect tool for flushing out any opportunistic campers that could be waiting for you to move past them.

Perks

  • Cold-Blooded (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Tune Up (Perk 3)

Being picked off by a player armed with a thermal sniper can be extremely annoying so we’ve equipped Cold-Blooded to stay hidden from any prying sniper scopes looking for a kill.

Overkill gives you the ability to arm yourself for any situation imaginable while Tune Up reduces revive times by 25%, allowing you to get you or your teammates back into the action quicker.
