Many players have long been waiting for Inazuma's release in Genshin Impact. Early in its promotional material, one Inazuma character and the succeeding reveals about the region have left the players wanting. When are we getting the new region?
Closest, Warmest As We Can Be
After Kaedehara Kazuha's arrival and his hand at the Archon Quest, the story of Genshin Impact is at its closest on getting to Inazuma. The recent main story quest shows that the Traveler has already secured their ride to the region.
Moreover, Mihoyo has gone and went over to reveal the first set of Inazuma characters that'll join the Traveler's journey. So far, Yoimiya, Ayaka, and Sayu will be available for the players for Patch 1.7.
All the players are waiting for is the release date of the new patch. However, Kaedehara Kazuha's banner also works a timer. Before the banner is over, Mihoyo would have finally showed the next Sneak Peek livestream that'll reveal the next content coming to Genshin Impact.

Sakoku Decree And Vision Hunt Decree
Once Inazuma's release date is confirmed, the Traveler's adventure to the new region won't be easy. According to the Inazuma natives found in Liyue, Inazuma's God of Eternity is a tyrant who collects Visions as part of exercising their authority. Meanwhile, the God of Eternity is also said to have the power to surround Inazuma with a storm just by changing their mood.
The journey and arrival to Inazuma could be the shakiest adventure that the Traveler will have in Genshin Impact so far.
New Region Could Be A New Problem
Early in the game, many players worked together in order to get all the region collectibles for Mondstadt and Liyue. Collecting the Anemoculus and Geoculus was mandatory as it gave permanent bonuses to the player's Stamina.
While it works, the tracking system that reveals these collectibles was fallible and often left many players running in circles as it failed to reveal the exact height of the collectible. Many of these collectibles were often found floating high up in the sky or buried under debris underground.
It is exciting to see Inazuma's island archipelago on release but the new collectibles that'll come along with it may be a problem.
